The lure of the pigeon

When I started taking pictures I swore I would never take pictures of birds, because birding is such a passion, I didn't want to put a camera between me and the direct observation and experience of nature.

Well, never say never. Here I am chasing pigeons with my camera. And they are a challenge! Why don't they stand still and pose?

I like the fossilized pigeon tracks preserved in concrete. Sort of like pigeon graffitti saying "I was here".
