Morning light

Last backblip
Woke up to sunshine and took a short walk down to the river before breakfast.
Liked the way the sun was lighting up this rock (which is often connected to the shore!), though the rush of water from the power station also was dramatic.
The retreat continued until after lunch but with a quiet morning, meditation on various bible verses with various visual things to help, a Communion service (with pictures to help focus) and then a time of praise and sharing.
I trust people went home refreshed and challenged.
Took the scenic route home, and had a fairly quiet evening catching up with Mr Rat's weekend and a few essential tasks.
