Llancayo Windmill

This is where we are spent the weekend singing with friends - a group which first got together to eat lunch in the shade of a terrace at Giarole Castle (see cathaber's blip here) in 2009. We meet every now and then, to sing though mostly Renaissance polyphony, and Cath thought it would be good to look at pieces in a bit more depth, and that Llancayo Windmill was just the place to do it. And how right she was. Superb place, superb acoustic, superb food, superb weather! You can see what the windmill looked like before they started restoration in 2004, if you scroll down to the bottom of the page here. Quite a transformation!
