Watch out: I have been thinking

Next to our mooring is a pine tree, which has scattered many a pine cone. It occurred to me that they might make good kindling, so I gathered as many as I could find up to test out my theory.

I know that pine wood isn't good to use on fires because of the resin, but I'm sure pine cones will be fine.

Shame we haven't had much need of the fire of late, what with the nice weather.
