Nor was he taken in by her offering to show him where Icarus went wrong. But, as they walked through a wooded glade, she offered to show him the most beautiful sight in the world. He was captivated at first glance. And, besotted, neglected to eat...

We watched, in reverence, as Narcissus was turned into a flower.
