There Should be a Law....

... that states:

"Any statutory body or government department will relinquish all rights to make decisions or manage a particular case if it unable to spell ACCOMMODATION correctly."

It is wonderfully ironic that this is one of those notices attached to lamp posts etc. by a local authority planning department.

One would think that ACCOMMODATION is a word that they use particularly often but apparently not!

Maybe its a cost cutting ploy - taking letters out of particularly long words to save printing costs.....

Spell checking budget has run out?

I won't say which council this is from as that'd be unkind.

Ooops... did I leave the location data 'live'...?

Ahh well.




ACCOMMODATION... It's not that difficult.
