“Lá fhéile Pádraig sona dhuit!”..... Happy St Patrick's Day!!..... A worldwide Irish festival based on a Welsh slave transported to Ireland who later became a saintly man... :-)
Spent the day taking photos at two local parades... These parades would be of interest to few outside the local communities as they are not the commercial extravaganzas we see shown on tv. There are, more importantly, all inclusive of the associations and clubs in each town where gaelic, soccer, rugby, cricket, dance, karate clubs participate along with local businesses.....They are the lifeblood and the future...just saying...
