Early appearance

When I was very young, I could see ten or twenty Santas in townn on Christmas Eve. It was exciting. The children do not hang up stockings in Finland, but Santa comes in person,played by an older family member or a rent-a-Santa. He comes on Christmas Eve.

Nowadays irritating big guys, wearing a white beard and dressed in red robes, showed up everywhere a month before Christmas.
