While my Guitar Gently Weeps

Stellata Magnolia must be my favourite in our garden. It has such delicacy, white fingery petals with a touch of pink, and a distinctively subtle evening aroma. But it is also prone to being hammered by wind, rain and frost. Ours must be nearly 20 years old, and although it is a slow grower and gets a regular trim, it is eating into the light to the front room. It has been served notice as a possible casualty to an imminent front garden make-over. I'm thinking of launching a campaign.
p.s. for Liangee: George Harrison's "While my Guitar Gently Weeps was inspired by the Chinese I Ching.
