The Kilns

Two kilns, 12 metres high, have survived from Buchan's Pipe Street pottery works, Portobello which closed in 1972. These kilns can be found behind Portobello Funfair and are now surrounded by foundations to new homes. They look even more magnificent as they have been fully exposed with the clearance of old buildings.
