Wind in your ears!!!

Homer, friends dog, enjoying the breeze.

We had a quote from a very well known double glazing company for replacement back sliding doors and 2 windows.
We hummed and hawd about agreeing to the quote and our very persuasive salesman worked his magic and the next thing he'd convinced us to sign the doted line.

Contract all signed and deposit paid.

Surveyor came round 2 weeks ago to check the measurements.

All done.... Just waiting for a date for the job to start.....


Today, 15 days later from the surveyors visit, we received a letter cancelling our contract due to the salesman underpricing the job.

Aargh!
(that wasn't quite Mr J's reaction.....!!)

Anyway.... To cut a long disturbing story short.... Mr J was right onto them complaining of the service and asking how it has taken this long to figure out that the job was underpriced.

One apology letter later and one sheepish salesman back on our doorstep and the deal is back on.

Mmmmm.... Let's hope they do a good job after all that!
