Lego City

OK, another project this week and a lazy one ... Lego. It's my last full week in the office until January 11, so it's going to be pretty busy ...

Adam, like all small boys I presume, absolutely LOVES Lego. He obsessed with it, and hundreds of dollars later we're still going. Today the kids were out buying Christmas presents with Mrs PS and Adam saw a Lego City tow truck and really wanted it. So he spent $22 of his own money on it ...

I'll be asking him in a few weeks if it was worth all those hard earned dollars. By then of course he won't have played with it for some weeks, but the intrinsic value of it will still be worth it for him.

It's not something we encourage, excessive consumption (i.e too much Lego). However, purchases like this are excellent ways to discuss value, earning money, and reminding them that so many people don't even have enough money for food let alone Lego ...
