Day of reckoning

This melon was delivered with my Christmas shopping as a replacement for a Galia melon ... Rock hard, so I found something else to have as a starter ... Now, three months on it is still rock hard, no signs of softening at the top nor any signs of decay or smelling sweet either ... so, fed up of it taking space in the fruit bowl it will be sliced open tonight!
