Millennium Sampler #2

This is the second section of my Millennium Sampler which I completed on 1st January 2000. It depicts two very important moments in British history. The Battle of Hastings when King Harold was defeated by William the Conqueror and the Battle of Britain when the RAF saved us from bombardment by the airborne German forces.

On another note, if any of you are followers of Raestelle and are worried about why she has stopped posting on Blip, I am sorry to tell you she has suffered a stroke and is currently in hospital. JoanneInOz has further details, but it would be good if we could all remember this wonderful lady in out thoughts and our prayers.
