The Mosquito and the Computer

This mosquito was sitting on my computer monitor this morning so I quietly got out my macro lens and started taking shots. The screen causes all sorts of funny distortions to happen and this was the clearest shot of many.

We have to be careful of mozzies here as some of them carry the Ross River virus which is a devastating sickness! Some of the syptoms are swelling and pain in the joints, fever, rash, headaches, tiredness and for some a very long recovery time.

Needless to say just thinking about the virus meant I had to squish the mozzie, unfortunately the phone rang and when I looked back he was gone...it was his lucky day!!
