Dicentra. Bleeding Heart Flower.

Well...... I was not expecting to see this flower just yet, but this is the only one on the plant so far. You can see that the plant is literally 4-5 " off the ground with the new growth.
They normally flower late April/May time and carry on flowering for some time. The common name 'Bleeding Heart' is derived by the very shape of the flower as one can see.
Sorry I have not blipped for awhile but have been very busy at home, but could not resist this one for you.
More blips next week as I'm off to LPH for a week and looking forward to it. Hope the weather is kind whilst I'm there.
