Hyacinth

(Always sounds like a greeting to me :)

Was up early to get to London, but at least this time I got back in daylight and it was a beautiful sunny afternoon here.

I'd hoped for a bird or a squirrel, but with the lurcher having spent most of his afternoon in the garden no wildlife was showing its face. So I went for the flowers.

This one was my choice for today for two reasons: 1) it lends itself well to macro, and 2) for once, I actually know the name of the plant!! :)
