Aural porn

How I wish a blip could include sound! Today has been a feast of glorious engine roar on some fantastic roads in inland Spain, to the south-west of Barcelona. We flew to Lleida for the launch drive of the new Jaguar F-Type Coupe. Just to ensure that we motoring journos weren't tempted to misbehave on public roads, Jaguar also arranged a session at a race circuit, Motorland Aragon, where we could explore the car's ability and indulge our adrenaline in safety.

On arrival this was the line-up of cars in the sunshine. The F-Type Coupe is simply fabulous: fast, very dynamic to drive, well-equipped with sensible electronic safety aids, and with a glorious engine note from the V6 engine in one version, and an amazing howl from the V8 range-topper.

I'm often asked, money no object, which car would I buy for personal use. This is my new answer. Lottery win? If only.
