What a Carve Up!

United Utilities have chopped down loads of trees and churned up the walkway through the woods into a quagmire, I hope they restore it before they disappear.

My sister is coming to stay in a few weeks which was the motivation I needed to get on with cleaning and de cluttering the house. I spent a few hours scrubbing, dusting and sorting...I've not been this domesticated for a long time.

Speaking of my sis, we were discussing programmes we used to watch when we were young recently and one of them was Armchair Thriller...specifically Quiet as a Nun. I used to have nightmares about that faceless nun in a rocking chair! They've just shown a clip of it on You Saw Them Here First, I hope I sleep tonight.
