Sword leaved helleborine

No, not in my spring garden but one off my camera from our last day in the Algarve.
Forced to hang around and wait for our flight, we visited a river valley we have previously walked, as it was shady and not too far to drive.
First we found Woodcock orchid, new for the trip, then a small white flower which on closer inspection was a not quite open helleborine. Happily we wandered on, and walked into a great stand of these statuesque plants, some 40cm high, and spreading right up through the untouched woodland.
After taking a few photos! we continued in a bit of a daze, only to discover Dense flowered orchid and then Man Orchid.
It is really quite some place at this time of year!
