Inspiring Women

How to make your audience laugh without saying a word. Be the only man in the room full of WI members. He took it well.

With little information beforehand about todays event, I had no idea what to expect, but it was enjoyable and, as hoped by the organisers, inspirational. It's easy to forget in our own WI that we are part of the largest women's voluntary organisation in the UK with over 212,000 members. The event was about encouraging our members to be involved locally, regionally and nationally, it gave us chance to meet other WI presidents, exchange ideas and to talk to National Federation Board Members.


My blip is not quite as planned thought as unfortunately my day was interrupted by C having a bump to her eye at school which after a while she was getting rather upset about. She OK after lots of TLC and hopefully after a good nights sleep her eye will have settled.
