The Brick Fields

There are two things it is hard to avoid seeing as you drive around Bangladesh. The first is green fields (there is a very good reason why their flag is green), and the second is bricks. Just outside Dhaka, past the garment district, is an area with an unusually high concertration of brick production. The other side of the road had even more than this. I am posting these travel photos straight out of the camera, this would benefit from a wee tidy up, but that will have to wait until I get back. Glad you liked yesterday's shot.

Another fascinating day visiting a leprosy village near (in literal but not travel terms) Dhaka, see my work blog if you are interesting to hear about Mutir, who is being nominated for a Wellesley Bailey award for his role in getting a home and a road for his community.
