Church of St Agnes

On the way to the camera club meeting and short of a blip I called in at the nearby 13th Century Church of St. Agnes in Freshwater and managed to get a a couple of shots in the gathering gloom.
The church is well worth a visit and was mentioned in the Domesday Book and contains some fine Victorian stained glass. Lord Tennyson and family used to worship here and the grave of Lady Tennyson can be found in the large churchyard separated from her husband who lies in Westminster Abbey.
