Today's the day ........................... for wind and rain

Not a day to be out and about in the fells.

I was glad that I was in a car being driven to Keswick for an Embroiderers' Guild talk about the Barrett Counterpane. The rain lashed and there were enormous pools of water across the road in some places. It was cold too.

Can we have spring back, please ...........................?
