Walrus

A walrus lost his blubber,
a skeleton was he,
And he lay like a shipwreck
at the bottom of the sea

Till, one day, someone found him
and hauled his bones ashore,
where they sit in a museum
to be admired for evermore.

His tusks are solid ivory,
his bleached skull holds them yet.
Will he ever grow new blubber
if we take him to the vet?*

*Well, no - but some starfish can regenerate themselves, apparently.

Today we went to Plymouth. I had a haircut and we visited the city museum and library. Ran out of time, though, so shall return another day. Haven't even started on Plymouth's art gallery, under the same roof.
