Labyrinth

Grand-nephew M wants to solve it in 5 minutes flat -- an impossible task! The wooden contraption has two knobs, one facing the player and the other on the right side (it's best for R-handed folks), which the player then turns, causing the labyrinth to move. The goal is to keep the iron ball (don't think you can see it here ...) from falling into the holes, all the way from hole 1 to hole 35. The hole where the ball falls in is the score. So far, M has scored mostly 2's and 3's plus an occasional 4 and even 6. His mum intends to try it out, too, if she ever gets the chance.

Actually passed by Strijen again and shot a very green field (really can't be helped as it's all very green at the moment) but also got two rather good sunset shots right outside our front door. The choice was M, though, because the decision to give him four of our board games was deliberate and the circumstances that led to that decision were certainly not planned. We know he will enjoy them, he and his parents and sister, and, in the end, that is what we did it for.
