Vaguely Marvellous

Marking the Seasons

I have taken a picture of the magnolia buds each year.

A lovely gentle Saturday: up late, then me and Amelia wandered down to the new patisserie/cafe/bakers at the end of the road for croissants and sourdough bread, the Guardian, and olive oil and sliced meats from the deli. It was all terribly middle class and smugly lovely. Then a delicious lunch (see above) and a bimble into town with Amelia.

Ben is hovering on the right side of poorly, and has spent most of the day under a duvet. Marc has been doing Useful Things with the understairs cupboard (it's going to house the washing machine). I am going to make curry for supper. All most satisfactory.
