Standing proud

The label on the back of this heavenly caterpillar/butterfly says 'knitted with love', and indeed it must have been. Ailsa's mum and her friends have tirelesly knitted hundreds of soft toys which they sell to raise money for a Bangladeshi orphanage.

People's acts of generosity never cease to surprise and inspire me. Yesterday my company launched a Christmas campaign to help some well-deserving charities and the response has already been amazing, heartwarming and humbling.
