Earlsferry

Continuing on the gradual conquest of the Fife Coastal trail.

Form Leven to Elie today, with lots to see, including the world's most powerful (7GW) wind turbine at Methil, the very impressive Kincraig Battery and, most excitingly, the birthplace of Alexander Selkirk at Lower Largo. Of course, you all know that Alexander Selkirk was the 'real' Robinson Crusoe' who spent four years on Alejandro Selkirk Island.

It wasn't called that until after his time there. Confusingly, the next door island is called Robinson Crusoe Island.
