Flat Tire

On the way home from New Orleans we had a flat tire. Such a scary thing to be driving down the highway and hear the flat tire alarm go off in your car as you are in the fast lane going 80 mph. Well, my husband decided to pull off and change the tire drive to a tire place and get a new one so we could get on our way. Well the tricky spare was a full size one that had to be blown up with an air compressor that connected to the cars battery. New saw that before. After the tire change and new tire we were back on the road only to get stuck in a crazy 2.5 hour traffic jam. Long story short, the 5 hour trip took almost 11 hours. We were so exhausted by the time we got home but at least we arrived in one piece.
