River Tweed at Innerleithen

The morning today was full of appalling weather - gales and torrential rain. I was going down to see a friend in Innerleithen and feeling it was probably a waste of time, I put my walking gear in anyway. But, as so often happens, the weather cleared up and the afternoon was sunny, so we went for a walk and the return route was along the Tweed. I loved the late afternoon light on the river and the forest.
