Tulip

Not having managed to capture a satisfactory blip earlier in the day, I went out into the garden near dusk, think maybe I'd get some silhouettes of tree branches against the sky as it darkened and coloured.

Instead, I noticed this tulip, and the way its light flower stood out among the dark green leaves.

I'm setting off tomorrow on almost two weeks of travel. I'll have my camera with me, but not a lot of time and opportunity to look for good pictures, so expect some emergency blips! I'll do my best to keep up with all your journals as and when I can.
