highlight of the day!

We drove out to the north Norfolk for the weekend, and our first stop was Blickling Hall, a fantastic Jacobean manor, in the Elizabethan style. We were delighted with the surprise in the long gallery of this gentlemen in period costume expertly playing his gorgeous lute, and his lady companion. Very interesting period music as well, with a unique notation system for the strings, like modern guitar tab.
