Anticipation

I've been checking on the forsythia bush and the daffodil buds every day now eagerly anticipating the day when their yellow blossoms open up and reassure me that spring really is here.

Now I'm hoping they wait another few days until after this Tuesday and Wednesday's snowfall.

Had a great visit with Nonna and Nonno today. Nonna is doing much better - lots of laughs and silliness; none of the depression and anxiety she was burdened with lately. Makes me very happy to see her so light-hearted.

Now for a dip in the hot tub and call it a night!
