Frosted aubretia

This morning was frosty, it looked so pretty that I couldn't resist this garden shot for my blip.
This morning I went out with my walking group making the most of the sunshine. We went from the Trevor Basin past the famous Pontcysyllte Aqueduct and around the lanes and canal towpaths. The wild flowers were blooming beautifully, I saw common and sweet violets as well as celandines, wood anemones, primroses and lady's smock. A chiff chaff was singing, the first of the returning migrants that I've heard. All a great contrast to the frost of this morning.
