Pioneer of spring

One small Common Hepatica, Sinivuokko as we say in finnish, is already growing in the woods nearby - and soon flowering - maybe even tomorrow...

A pioneer of spring but quite modest. From the distance you can not notice any buds of flowers at all, only dry leaves.

It has been a sunny and lovely day - to stand or sit indoors working by the computer.

ps. Additional note. Sinivuokko is also an old nickname for the policeman as the policemen here wear dark blue univorms :)
