Braeriach from Loch Pityoulish

The weather was cold with snow showers on Sunday morning and quite windy. We decided to go orienteering at Anagach, a classic Speyside forest, rather than hillwalking. It was a really good event with excellent courses. Apart from a couple of wobbles, I had a good run and enjoyed running in the moraines and marshes. It snowed a couple of times and then the afternoon was brilliant sunshine. There had been some snow overnight and this made the higher hills really beautiful. There is still a lot of snow on the eastern and north eastern slopes, despite the recent thaw. This is Braeriach from Loch Pityoulish near Coylumbridge. The little pyramidical hill is Carn Eilrig.
