The last league game of the season and the Blaze need a point to ensure they reach the play offs next weekend. Their opponents Cardiff Devils need a win to ensure they continue their unbroken run of qualifying for the play offs.

The game was tense, fast, end to end with some big hits and a lot of near chances. Both net minders made some big saves but in the end the Blaze came through and won the game and with other results not going their way, Cardiff's run is no more.
