Chain reaction

A day not spent working in Edinburgh resulted in a departure from the usual weekday image. Thankfully a setting sun helped in making the result of the search a bit more dramatic than it would normally have been.

I liked the abstract shapes created by these four sea anchors lying forgotten and rusting in the docks at Burntisland. I presume they were made for an oil rig but never used. Or perhaps they can be ordered on-line and delivered to the oilfield of your choice? Unlikely I think.

They will take some shifting though as they stand, or lie in this instance, well over three metres tall and five metres wide. If you are attached to one of these things your not going anywhere in a hurry.
