Some friends are having a huge new extension to their house. Big kitchen downstairs, more bedrooms upstairs. The rubble from a former structure, concrete, old pipes, bricks etc, has been dumped in the formerly neat front garden awaiting collection. Yesterday this tiny daffodil managed to bloom amid all the chaos....
