Scotland in stitches

The Great Scottish Tapestry is on view at Aberdeen art gallery, and if you can I recommend a visit. Fantastic is the only word to describe it.
Very hard to choose but this is definitely one of my favourites, The Paisley Peacock.
The word Paisley is often associated with the teardrop pattern used on fabric and domestic goods.
The name Paisley did not originate from the large town outside Glasgow, it has Indo-European roots from 2000 years ago.
