Penberth Cove

Cold, wet and windy this morning but it didn't matter because we were doing research into JJ's g.grandfather at the Indo European Telegraph Company's research facility in Porthcurno. We found little bits of info but nothing to get excited about. Sennen Cove beckoned for lunch but The Beach restaurant was closed so headed for the pub. Pasties, so no dinner tonight. The rain had stopped and a little blue sky appeared, but boy is that wind cold.

Backtracked a bit this afternoon and the photo was taken at a tiny cove down a beautiful tree-lined valley. Then on to Lamorna for a cup of tea and to see what damage the recent storms wrought. Well there is a huge chunk of harbour wall lying in the sea which is where I expect it will stay.
