Small Beginnings

Brought this giant fir cone back from our country getaway. Popped it on the radiator to open it up and have planted one of the seeds in a pot. The idea is, if it takes, that we have a little bit if somewhere we love with us here in our garden at home.

Never ceases to amaze me that something so tall can come from something so tiny it looks lost in your palm.
