Androsace carnea

A group of tiny seedlings planted out last year, just coming into flower. Each plant could be covered by a £2 coin! Androsace is a genus in Primulaceae, the eagle eyed among you will see the similarity with the Birds Eye Primrose I posted a couple of days ago.

A good job I planted these outside, the ones I kept in pots did not make it through the winter :-(
