Glen Turret and Choinneachan Hill.

Travelling through Crieff today decided to take a detour to revisit Glen Turret.

First challenge was getting there, the former pristine road is now a pot holed nightmare. Shame on you Scottish Water!

Once at the dam it all came back to me, routes, people, weather, rain, mist, snow and ice and on one occasion taking a deviation on the way down ending up miles from the car park on a short winter day.

Another feature of winter here is White Hares particularly on the shoulder of Ben Chonzie. A rare sight these days.
