Orchid

One couple from yesterday's reunion spent the night with us before going home to Yeovil. After Normous cooked them a hearty breakfast we took them to the RHS garden at Wisley. There was a cold wind and not much sunshine but we enjoyed our walk. There were swathes of daffodils and lots of hellebores. Sadly the camellias and the magnolias have been caught by the recent frosts. As always the highlight of the visit was the glasshouse, and the highlight in the glasshouse was the orchids. There is a huge display with orchids of many sizes, shapes and colours. All were eminently blippable.
After treating us to lunch at the nearby Anchor pub our friends set off on their long drive back to their home near Yeovil.
