Bearded Drummer

I was asked to take some photos at a recording session today. The drummer in the session is a pretty legendary guy who's played with loads of other legends.

Really nice guy and had I a good chat with him. I took a load of shots but liked this one in particular because it's a not your normal portrait. Also, his beard was awesome (and also quite well known) and I like how this captured it. Unfortunately, this wasn't all of it - it's a couple of feet long but he actually tucks it into his scarf and jacket!

Also got to do some claps on the recording so will put in for performance royalties. That might make me tens of pence…
