A Gooses' Afternoon

A little group of Canada geese had lazed along the river this afternoon and came onshore on the grassy hill next to the hardware store. They own the earth, of course. After viewing this blip on screen it looks as if the standing goose is banded. They are probably a part of the huge numbers of permanent residents.
