On Canvas

One of the challenges in this day and age of digital photography is selecting just the right photo for display. And, then - what do you do with all the others...?!

I remember something a photography instructor said when I took my first course - w-a-a-a-y back in the days of film. If you want to get good at photography, take lots of photos. However, only expect to get one good result from the entire roll. That stuck with me and often one photo from a shoot will stand out from the others.

This one captured the heart of his mom who wanted it put on canvas to give to her mom! You may remember him from a blip in February. Here is the finished product.
