Mayfair Life #4 Protests

There are several protests every year that pass through Mayfair. Today the National Union of Teachers went on strike.

They have my sympathy. You can only do the job because you absolutely love it and sadly that is exploited as they work massive amounts of unpaid overtime, rarely get lunch breaks and don't forget the abuse from parents (and children), the constant assessment and more time spent planning and marking than actually teaching.

I'd have grabbed a whistle and a green T-shirt and joined them, only I had to get back to the office.
